In a resounding testament to outstanding contributions, The Shipyard has named Executive Vice President Tammy Haughey to Managing Partner. In her new role, Haughey will oversee the Agency’s California business across Sacramento, San Diego and Newport offices. A seasoned veteran with deep roots and client experience in the region, Haughey is charged with leading The Shipyard’s continued success and growth in California, and with the Agency’s many travel and tourism clients.
In addition, Haughey will continue to be the Executive lead overseeing the Account Management practice with the elevation of Vice President, Group Account Directors, Amanda Moul and Lauren Arnold to Vice President, Account Management, roles for California and Columbus. As co-leads of the department day to day, Moul and Arnold will be focused on driving courageous client leadership and growth, fostering brave work , collaborative problem-solving, and supportive learning/mentorship.

Tammy Haughey, Managing Partner
Tammy is a veteran advertising executive with a blend of grit and grace. She oversees The Shipyard’s West Coast operations, managing resources and instituting region-specific strategic goals, while serving as a trusted advisor across the organization. With a keen understanding of client needs and market dynamics, Tammy has extensive experience cultivating enduring partnerships founded on trust, innovation, and mutual success. Since 2007, she has led strategic planning and brand development for the agency’s largest global client, Visit California, while providing counsel to staff across the agency’s clients as Executive Lead of the Account Management discipline. Prior to The Shipyard, Tammy held executive management roles at several California agencies on a wide range of travel, tourism, and hospitality clients including Hilton Gaming, Destination Hotels & Resorts, SeaWorld San Diego, Paragon Steakhouse Restaurants, and San Diego Tourism Authority. She is a graduate of the 2023 LEAD San Diego Influence class and currently serves on the LEAD San Diego Board of Directors.
Amanda Moul, Vice President, Account Management
Throughout her career in advertising, Amanda has taken on the role of connector — building partnerships, maximizing teams and innovating brands for clients in the entertainment, tourism, energy, government and educational service industries. A trusted advisor, Amanda takes on new challenges with confidence and a fast-paced environment with agility and acumen. She is an advocate for diverse teams, in background, experience and points of view, to develop meaningful work that delivers impactful results. In her role at The Shipyard, Amanda guides integrated planning efforts and program of work implementation for clients including Save Our Water, San Diego Gas & Electric, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, Mammoth Lakes Tourism, Visit Napa Valley, Hotel del Coronado and more. Additionally, Amanda lead’s The Shipyard’s newly minted Sustainability Steering Committee and serves as agency-membership point to Ad Net Zero, the advertising industry’s drive and commitment to rapid climate action.
Lauren Arnold, Vice President, Account Management
Lauren is a results-driven marketing executive with more than 15 years of experience in client relations, leadership, account growth and strategic communications. Lauren truly understands the value of communication and brings a unique emotional intelligence and insight to every client relationship and brand engagement. Her expertise lies in leading the development of marketing campaigns that outperform in the marketplace, and her talent for strategy development helps brands find success across a span of industries including financial services, travel/tourism, healthcare and CPG. Lauren leads the client services team on the CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) “We’ll Get You There” campaign, which has rocketed beyond industry benchmarks for the second year in a row. Additionally, she leads the team on Arosa, Huntington National Bank, JB Weld, IHG Hotels & Resorts and more. Lauren is also a founding member and executive co-chair of The Shipyard’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B) Steering Committee, driving greater innovation and authenticity across the agency.
